Company history

1994 Start of development of dental products in a university setting.
1997 Foundation of the company as a partnership.
1998 Foundation of a limited company (GmbH) with two managing directors.
1999 The unexpected early death of our co-Managing Director Harald Pfersdorf at the age of 55.
2000 Change of company name to our current name of “PRISMAN”.
Since 2001, PRISMAN GmbH has been developing and producing products using the quality management system of the new ISO 9001 standard, and is also EN 46001 certified.
2003 Doubling of the company premises and the production facilities compared to 2002.
Additional ISO 13486 certification.
2007 Start of the production of pharmaceutical products as per Good Manufacturing Practice.
2010 Commissioning of an outsourced hazardous goods warehouse.
2012 Doubling of the company premises and production facilities compared to 2010, commissioning of another outsourced hazardous goods warehouse for finished products.
2013 Foundation of PRISMAN Chemie GmbH & Co. KG.
2013 Start of a new building with 10,000 sqm headquarters.
2013 Completion of new state-of-the-arts headquarters which serves as the production facility and storage space.
2014 Relocation of the administration as well as parts of the production and warehouse from Viernheim to the new facility in Lorsch
2017 Start of the approximately 2,000 square meters warehouse expansion with completion in May 2018
